Andy Warhol Flowers
Andy Warhol's Flowers paintings were based on a photograph of hibiscus blossoms which appeared in Modern Photography, June 1964. The photographer, Patricia Caulfield, brought a lawsuit against Warhol and was offered two sets of Flowers portfolios as payment for use of her work, but she declined the offer and a cash settlement was arranged.
